Subscription Terms
Subscription & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: April 2026 Effective for all subscriptions placed on or after this date.
Overview
Some items in our store are offered as subscriptions. This policy governs all subscription purchases from Of The Ancients LLC ("Of The Ancients," "we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing, you ("Subscriber," "you," or "your") agree to these Subscription Terms, which apply in addition to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Return Policy, each incorporated herein by reference.

1. Subscription Agreement
When you purchase a subscription to Logic Lion's Mane or any other subscription product offered by Of The Ancients, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your subscription includes an initial charge and a recurring payment feature that will continue at your selected interval until you or we cancel it;
- You are responsible for all charges that accrue prior to cancellation, including any charges that process during a cancellation window;
- You have read, understood, and agreed to these Subscription Terms in their entirety.
By completing your purchase of a subscription product, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Subscription Terms. Completion of the checkout process constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
2. Automatic Renewal and Billing
Frequency: Your subscription will automatically renew at the delivery interval you selected at checkout (e.g., every 30 days / approximately monthly, or every 60 days / approximately every two months). You can view your next billing date at any time through your Customer Portal.
Billing: Your payment method will be charged automatically on or around your scheduled renewal date. Actual charge dates may vary slightly due to processing times, weekends, holidays, or system requirements beyond our control.
Amount: The total charge will include the applicable subscription product price (minus any active subscription discount, if applicable), plus any applicable shipping fees and taxes as calculated at the time of billing. Prices and taxes are subject to change; see Section 6 below.
Authorization: By completing your subscription purchase, you expressly authorize Of The Ancients to charge your payment method on file (i) immediately for your initial order, and (ii) at the beginning of each subsequent subscription period in the amount then applicable to your subscription, including applicable shipping and taxes. This authorization remains in effect until you cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 3 below or your subscription is otherwise terminated.
3. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees.
Methods: You may cancel by:
- Logging into your Customer Portal at any time; or
- Emailing us at hello@oftheancients.com
We will make reasonable efforts to process cancellation requests promptly. Cancellations submitted by email are processed during normal business hours and may not be confirmed instantaneously.
Deadline to Avoid Next Charge: To avoid being charged for your next shipment, your cancellation must be submitted and confirmed at least 24 hours before your next scheduled billing date (Central Time, CT). We cannot guarantee that cancellations submitted within 24 hours of a scheduled billing date will be processed in time to prevent that charge.
After an Order Has Processed: If a cancellation is requested after an order has already been processed, charged, or shipped, that specific order cannot be cancelled. You may request a return or refund for that order in accordance with our Return Policy.
Confirmation: We will make reasonable efforts to send you a confirmation email when your cancellation is processed. If you do not receive a confirmation within two (2) business days of submitting a cancellation request, please follow up with us to confirm your cancellation was received.
4. Skipping and Pausing
You do not need to cancel if you have excess product or are temporarily unavailable. You can skip a shipment or pause your subscription at any time through your Customer Portal. Additional adjustments, including changing your delivery address, billing information, or product variant, may also be made through the Customer Portal, subject to the 24-hour deadline above.
5. Failed Payments
If your payment method is declined or fails for any reason (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds, card issuer restrictions), we will make reasonable efforts to retry the charge on your payment method. The number and timing of retry attempts may vary and are subject to change based on our payment processing systems, third-party platform requirements, and applicable best practices at the time.
We will endeavor to notify you via email if a payment fails so that you have the opportunity to update your payment method through your Customer Portal.
If payment cannot be successfully collected after our retry efforts, your subscription may be paused or cancelled at our sole discretion until a valid payment method is provided. Of The Ancients is not liable for any lapse in shipment or subscription benefits that results from a failed payment.
6. Pricing and Changes
We reserve the right to change the price of any product or subscription plan at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to changes in supplier costs, formulation updates, or market conditions.
Notice of Price Increases: In the event of a price increase that will affect your active subscription, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email at the address on file at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. You will have the opportunity to cancel your subscription before being charged at the new rate. Your continued subscription after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
Of The Ancients is not responsible for failed or undelivered email notifications due to email filtering, outdated contact information, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. It is your responsibility to maintain a current, accurate email address on your account.
7. Annual Subscription Reminders
For subscriptions that remain active, we will make reasonable efforts to send you an annual reminder summarizing your subscription details, including the product(s) subscribed, the current subscription price, your billing frequency, and how to cancel. These reminders are a courtesy; your obligation to cancel in order to avoid future charges is not contingent on receipt of such reminders.
8. Subscription Discount Terms
Subscription discounts are applied to eligible subscription orders as a benefit of active enrollment. Discount rates are subject to change at our discretion with reasonable notice. Subscription discounts apply only while your subscription remains active and in good standing. If your subscription is cancelled, paused due to non-payment, or otherwise terminated, and you subsequently re-enroll, the discount rate available at the time of your new subscription will apply, which may differ from any previously received rate.
9. Our Right to Modify or Terminate Subscriptions
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any subscription, or the subscription program generally, at any time, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to circumstances involving fraud, abuse, violation of these terms, product discontinuation, or regulatory requirements. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email in advance where practicable, and we will not charge you for any subscription period that does not result in a fulfilled shipment.
We also reserve the right to modify these Subscription Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers, with the updated terms taking effect on the date specified in our notice. Your continued subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OF THE ANCIENTS LLC, ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: FAILED DELIVERIES, BILLING ERRORS, PROCESSING DELAYS, OR SUBSCRIPTION INTERRUPTIONS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR SUBSCRIPTION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Subscription Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your subscription shall first be submitted to informal resolution by contacting us at hello@oftheancients.com. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Cook County, Illinois. Judgment on any arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
YOU AND OF THE ANCIENTS EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION WITH RESPECT TO ANY SUBSCRIPTION-RELATED CLAIM.
Nothing herein prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
